license reciprocity

Reciprocal Licensing

Reciprocity means that if you are already licensed in real estate in another state and in good standing with the licensing body of that state, Georgia will issue you a license without requiring you to go through the prelicense process again.

Depending on the policy of your original licensing state, Georgia may issue you a license straight off with no additional requirements OR they may require you to take and pass the state portion (50 questions) of the licensing exam.

Why make you take the state exam?

Each state has its own unique license laws, regulations, customs and practices. Understanding these differences is necessary in order to conduct yourself and your business within the guidelines for each state in which you are licensed.

If you need help reviewing Georgia Practices and Law, we have a couple of options available to you.

Join us for the bi-annual Full-Weekend Cram Study Session. While the cram is a comprehensive review of all national and Georgia concepts, many reciprocity candidates have found the review helpful

We are working on an online, self-paced, Georgia Practice and Law course specifically designed to assist reciprocal licensing candidates. We plan to go live by September 2019. Check back!
